The parents and families of Park Hall Infant Academy have traditionally been highly supportive of their children’s learning. We want to find new ways of children learning out of school with their families and we want to find ways of making the community a more exciting and engaging place for our children. To this end we have developed Creative Learning Trails around our school community. The learning trails provide ideas to stimulate investigation and Speaking and Listening and to suggest activities such as writing, story making, art, drama and music.
The Creative Learning trails are enjoyable and engaging for child and families alike. They are only accessible by foot so will encourage families to venture outside – whatever the weather!
We anticipate that families will be visiting our trails regularly as the seasons change. The use of the trails will form part of our homework programme.
Creative Community Trails is a project of Park Hall Infant Academy and was funded by Creative Partnerships and Awards for all.
